How to get started in 10 minutes

Step-by-step guide to set up your listing/Gig

What do you need to get started? An email ID, idea of service you are offering, written brief and details of service you are offering, pictures of your past work if any (resumes, coaching reviews etc., payout and KYC details (can be updated anytime).

  2. Login and initial account set-up
  3. Creating a Listing/Gig (your service offering)
  4. Listing Category: Resume Writing Services
  5. Listing Category: Coaching Services
  6. Account Settings if you are a first-time seller on our marketplace.
  7. Customer Care and Set-up Support

Signup as a Seller/Service Provider

1.1 Click on the Sign-up or Login page on the top right.

1.2 You can either sign-up using your Gmail account or manually fill-up your email ID, name and password. Accept the privacy and terms of conditions box and click on Sign-up.

1.3 You would then receive a confirmation email to verify your email ID. Check your email. Click on “Verify email”. Upon verifying email, you will have received a successful welcome email.

  1. Login and initial account set-up

2.1 Click on login button on the top right of the website https://marketplace.c-suitecvsecure.com . Enter email ID, password, and login. If you used Gmail to sign-up, then use the same Gmail id to sign-in.

2.2 Click on the top right round button with your name initials.

2.3 Click on profile settings. Update your professional picture.

2.4 Write a brief Bio about you. Who you are, what your expertise is etc.

2.5 Click on Save changes,

  1. Creating a Listing/Gig (your service offering)

3.1 Once you are logged in, click on “Post a new listing” on the top right.

3.2 Click on Listing Type. You will see two options:

Option A) Resume Writing Services: Choose this option if you are offering resume writing, cover letter writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, executive resume writing or resume proofreading.

Option B) Coaching Services: Choose this option if you are offering interview coaching, career coaching or salary negotiation coaching services.

  1. Listing Category: Resume Writing Service (If you chose Option A Resume Writing Service)

4.1 A new subcategory will appear with multiple drop downs. Choose the service you would like to offer.

4.2 “Listing Title” – Write what do you offer in a brief, concise way. Keep it below 100 characters.

For example:

  1. I will provide professional resume writing services
  2. I will write a winning resume for management roles
  3. I will write a professional cover letter
  4. I will write your executive resume
  5. I will proofread your resume to be error free
  6. I will optimize your LinkedIn profile to get recruiter views

4.3 “Listing description” – Describe your service, your credentials, why you are qualified, key differentiators, what your buyer will get, etc. Be creative yet professional here.

4.5 “Years of Resume Writing Experience” – Choose appropriate number of years from the dropdown.

4.6 “Industry” – Tick all the industries you have expertise in. If you are a generalist, click on “All Industries”. It’s ideal to keep the number of industries below 8.

4.7 “Seller Response Time” – You are the seller, and how often/fast can you respond to a buyer’s request for services. Don’t confuse this as the time to complete the service. This is about how fast you can initially communicate with the buyer.

4.8 “Seller speaks” – Choose all the languages you speak.

4.9 “Resume/CV/Cover Letter Revisions” – Select how many revisions you are willing to offer your buyer. At least 1 revision is a must.

4.10 “Information Gathering Mode” – Choose the appropriate option from the drop-down menu. Typically, someone who does a video call consultation with the buyer charges more than someone who gathers information through email.

4.11 “Delivery Time” – From the time a buyer purchases your services, how fast can you deliver the service? Be realistic. Under-promise and over-deliver.

4.12 “Pricing & Stock” - Put a price for your service in US dollars. The price you mention is for 1 quantity. The minimum price you can set is $50.

4.13 Photos - Add photos of your most recent and impressive work.

4.14 Click on “Publish Listing”. The listing will be sent for review and will usually get approved in under 1 hour automatically.

  1. Listing Category: Coaching Services ((If you chose Option A Resume Writing Service))

5.1 A new subcategory will appear with multiple drop downs. Choose the service you would like to offer.

5.2 “Listing Title” – write what do you offer in a brief, concise way. Keep it below 100 characters.

  2. I will be your career advisor
  3. I will coach you through career transition
  4. I will coach you for your interview
  5. I will coach you for salary negotiation
  6. I will be your interview coach

5.3 “Listing description” – Describe your service, your credentials, why you are qualified, key differentiators, what your buyer will get, etc. Be creative yet professional here.

5.4 “Years of Interview Coaching Experience” – choose appropriate years.

5.5 “Industry” – Tick all the industries you have expertise in. If you are a generalist, click on “All Industries”. It’s ideal to keep the number of industries below 8.

  1. Account Settings if you are a first-time seller on our marketplace.

6.1 Click on Account Settings once you are logged in.

6.2 Update your phone number. This is important if our representatives need to talk to you about a Gig, customer comments or about other general matters.

6.3 Payout details – If you are a seller, then you need to complete this to get paid. Choose if you are an individual or a business. Click on the country of resident/citizenship. Enter the bank account details. We work with a well reputed financial services company called Stripe (www.stripe.com) for verifications and payments. You will be prompted to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) details. Depending upon your country/citizenship, you will be asked for your identity proof among other details.

6.4 “Payment methods” – this is applicable only if you are buying a specific service from another buyer.

  1. Customer Care and Set-up Support We offer a responsive customer support if you write to info@c-suitecvsecure.com. We also offer assisted set-up support for a small one-time fee of $50 for a call that would last anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. In this call, we our representative will guide you step-by-step on how to set up your profile.

PRO Tips:

  1. You can create multiple service offerings/Gigs from your account.

For example, one listing for resume writing for mid-level professionals, one listing for senior executives, one listing for cover letter services and yet another listing for LinkedIn profile optimization.

Another example – you can create a one-hour coaching listing, you can create a 2-hour coaching listing and even a third, 3-hour coaching listing from the same account.

  1. Do not create multiple accounts to offer multiple listings/services/gigs.
  2. Be clear what is included.
  3. To create new listing/services/Gigs, follow the same steps as above.
